Although the potential closing of the Lakes Region Prison in Laconia, NH will lead to a 1.7 million dollar decrease in the Department of Correction's budget, various layoffs and the unknown fates of several inmates remain unsolved problems.
I'm a Freshman here at the University of New Hampshire. I'm currently a Journalism major and am taking a Newswriting course. I was born and raised in Vail, CO and somehow ended up on the East Coast. This is my first experience with blogging so here goes nothing!
